Evolution – a continual process of change. Through time and age, change is the only constant. While this displaces one from comfort zone, it is only with changes that bring progress and advancements. Traditions and stereotypes may be challenged but this paves way for more open mindsets, spurring greater diversity and innovation.
This contemporary dance production seeks to portray different aspects that evolve through time. “ Ego Women ” - In society, the role of women has transformed, deviating from a subservient class to emerge as individuals, who celebrate each person’s unique characteristics. “ How I Wish ” - In life, troubles, stress and frustrations descend as one grows. These rouse yearnings to turn back time to the simple and carefree childhood times.
Apart from original dance pieces by our budding choreographers, the production will showcase an item by Miss Kuo Nai Yu, an experienced dancer previously with the renowned and internationally acclaimed Cloud Gate Dance Theatre from Taiwan. “Restless ” depicts the stirring emotions to strive ahead and pulsating calling to follow one’s heart.
